First of all as our valued clients and friends we want to take this opportunity to thank you for your ongoing support. Particularly in the past few weeks as each of us navigate the constantly changing landscape caused by COVID-19 and assure you that we are here to assist and advise you on travel options.

It is times like these that we as travel agents are so necessary and vital to ensure that you have someone to call. In the past few months we have cancelled or rebooked Flights, Hotels, Cruises and Tours. We have been constantly keeping in touch with clients who needed our assistance.

Our phones have been very busy and we have received many emails from our clients both at home and overseas where we have helped to ensure there was someone here to listen and help.

Many have told us of other travellers who had booked online and had a lot of difficulty rearranging their travel as they could not get through to the online Travel Company they booked with.

We are very proud to say that we have received many wonderful compliments saying that to have someone there to resolve a problem immediately is invaluable especially to destress the situation.

We are in the business of serving people, and in the midst of this outbreak it is important that we give you as much information as possible, whilst each day we see new developments, rest assured that your safety is paramount to everything that we do and we are constantly monitoring all government advice as well as notifications from airlines, tour operators and cruise lines to provide you with the most up to date information.

Currently, we are open to take calls during working hours. As you know many Hotels, Airlines and Tour Operators are closed or working on minimal staff. This makes it difficult for us to get quick answers.

We however hope that in the coming month or two we will hopefully see some better news and start to discuss the future.

Yesterday I was speaking to a Cruise Operator who said that they are seeing some search activity on their website. It does make sense that being “confined to quarters” one would get restless and want to look what is going on out there and plan for the future.

We all love to travel to discover and see what is over the next hill or over the horizon and experience new cultures, exotic food and experience something new.

These days of travel will be back so we can all enjoy the excitement.
